ROUTE DESCRIPTION
- Experience a 45 km circular Adventure Of a Lifetime on Bjelašnica!
- Start from Babin Do by the lift with Olympic charm, then take a circular path to Lukomir – the highest village in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The path takes you through flowery meadows, past mountain huts over 80 years old, until you return to the starting point.
- Leaving you in awe, the route takes you back to Babin Do for the celebration of the HIGHLANDER title.
TRANSPORT TO THE CHECK-IN AND START
Once coming to the Bjelašnica, there is one more thing to do before the start - a mandatory Check-in where you will receive the food for the first day, HIGHLANDER start package, etc.
You will have enough time to go through your gear, make final preparations, and plan the first day’s route.

As your safety is our number one priority, we reserve the right to check your equipment at the start.
CHECKPOINTS are open at specific times
You have to collect all the checkpoint stamps to receive the HIGHLANDER title.
Checkpoints are open at specific times. During checkpoint working hours, our staff will assist you in obtaining your HIGHLANDER checkpoint stamp, water, and food.
Please note that if you fail to obtain the checkpoint stamp, you are disqualified and are not entitled to the HIGHLANDER title, Pin, Patch, or Certificate. The participant is the only one responsible for collecting the stamp at each checkpoint.
