The route has a total distance of approx. 25 km through the most significant landscape of Risnjak National Park; with about 1400m of ascent.

Starting at the very entrance to Risnjak National Park, follow Horvat's path all the way to Schlosser's lodge, where there will be the first refreshment stop and the mark at the very top of Risnjak 1528m, which is also the highest point of the National Park and provides a spectacular panoramic view.

to the entire Gorski kotar, Rijeka Bay, Krk Island, Učka, Ćićarija, Snježnik, Velebit, Bjelolasica, Lokvar Lake and even the Alps.

Along the ridge of Mali Risnjak (1448m) it passes through the Medvjeđa vrata natural passage and descends to the Vilje control point, where there is a place for bivouacs, rest and socializing, and a festival program.

On the second day, this winter adventure takes us along the roads of NP Risnjak to Snježnik (1505m), which is also the most beautiful viewpoint in this region. Over this fairy-tale peak, the route takes us to the FINISH at the Platak ski resort, where we will celebrate the success of conquering the first winter HIGHLANDER.

From the FINISH, bus transportation back to the starting point of this adventure / parking lot will be organized.
