Set on the breathtaking islands of Cres and Lošinj in Croatia, this new addition to the HIGHLANDER calendar promises a journey that will captivate your heart and ignite your adventurous spirit.
An epic route through history and nature
The trail begins in the historic town of Osor on the island of Cres, a place where centuries of culture converge. From there, hikers will cross the Kavuada Channel, a site steeped in history, before venturing into the rugged karst landscapes of Lošinj.
As the trail ascends to the Osoršćica Ridge, participants will tackle two iconic peaks - Sv. Nikola (557 m), crowned with a charming chapel, and Televrina (588 m), the island’s highest summit. These vantage points offer panoramic views of the Kvarner Gulf, a reward that will leave hikers in awe.
The adventure continues with a visit to Polanža, a Bronze Age fortress perched atop a hill near Ćunski, and ends with a serene coastal trek from Ćunski to Rt Vile, winding through dramatic rocky terrain and tranquil bays. Along every step, participants will experience the raw power of nature and the serenity of the Adriatic coastline.
